Formation
of “KOKINO SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL TRUST
|
Our
long felt need for forming a trust was registered on 29-04-1998.
The name of the trust is “Kokino Sports & Educational Trust”.
Formation of the trust will benefit us in the following ways:-

Kokino
gets legal status as a non-profitable, service oriented
organisation with an aim to promote various activities
through which the youth in INDIA could become strong,
disciplined and patriotic citizens.

Kokino’s
activities and accounts shall be scrutinized by an
auditor every year, which will form a sound base for
us to raise sufficient funds from our well-wishers.
|
|
Kokino’s
legal status and its name cannot be misused by any
other individual, group or organisation.
|
|
Kokino
can join venture with various Government and Private
bodies both in India & abroad to promote Martial
Arts in general and Karate in particular.
|
|
Hence-forth
Kokino shall be listed in the Government records as
one among the legal sports bodies.
|

Mr.
S. Kothandan (Managing Trustee) :
He is the Founder of Kokino. He is a 6th Dan Black Belt
holder. He is the Chief Technical Director and Chief examiner
for India. He has more than 34 years of experience in Karate.
He has written a book entitled “A Complete Book on
Karate Competition” first of its kind in English and
Tamil in India. Though he is an Officer in State Bank of
India he is at the threshold of relinquishing the office
for promoting wholly the interest of Martial Art and Kokino
Sports and Educational Trust.

Mrs.
K. Vasanthi (Trustee) :
Mrs. Vasanthi’s help is excellent. Because of her assistantce,
it was Possible for Kokino to achieve the above. She extended
full co-operation in all the activities of Kokino.

Mr.
K. Singhavel ( Trustee ) :
He is one of the trustees. He is an expert in Multimedia
and he is behind all the computer related activities of
Kokino. Young, energetic and eager, he is always at the
services of Kokino.

SUPPORTERS

Mr.
M. BALAKRISHANAN is a retired State Bank of India officer
and the former President of All India State Bank officers
Federation.Being very enthusiatic in promoting Karate he
helped us in many ways. Particularly, when Shihan S.Kothandan
had problems of transfer from one place to another he was
fully involved in promoting Karate through Kokino Shito-ryu
Karate School of India which had its Honbu Dojo in Chennai.
He helped Kokino without any hesitation whenever needed.

V.S. Vinayagam
is a Siddha Doctor in profession. Right from the beginning
i.e. on 27-01-1980, he helps KOKINO in every possible manner,
without any hesitation. |

Mrs.
RAJASEELI JOHN is the first lady to start a Karate Association
for Women in India, she helped Kokino to get Asian Shito-ryu
Karate Connections. She was formerly Principal of YMCA Nandanam
Sports College and she is responsible for the spread of
Shito-ryu Karate style in India.

| Mr.
Murali is one of the proud products of Kokino. He is successfully
executing an Organisation by name Success Solutions He is
lending a helping hand to Kokino in all its activities during
the time of Tournaments and other Kokino functions. |
