JUNIOR CLASS (Ages 4 to 12)

We must make it clear that in the Junior Classes (Boys and Girls), our aim is to build character through discipline and self-confidence. Therefore, many of the Karate techniques deemed dangerous are not taught in these classes. The youngsters are instructed to defend against punches, holds and grabs. Foremost, they are instructed in good attitude and manners. Frankly, the first few weeks are difficult, but enjoyable to
the youngsters.

Most parents notice a difference in poise, agility and confidence, after a short time has been spent in training. Karate training enhances the aptitude of a child in various other sports activities and enables him / her to attain perfection in the game for which he or she has flair. Thousands of students have taken the course and in almost every instance their attitude, respect and social life have been enhanced.

ADULT & SENIOR CLASSES

In the Adult/Senior Classes, College Students, working men/women, and anyone who is interested in learning KARATE can join. A minimum of three classes per week are held and members may attend as often as they desire. For the first three months, beginners may do one hour per day. Thereafter, they may attend one and half hour of advanced training. How quickly and well they learn, depends on the student's aptitude, drive and attendance. Our minimum recommendation is three classes per week. More is possible. How fast they learn is upto them. The duration of basic course is three months. Many ladies are now enjoying this training. At the end of the classes, students take a Pledge to respect elders; to use their knowledge of the Martial Art in proper perspective; to be patriotic citizens; and to remain faithfull to KOKINO, always.
